The 2011 Feast-ival will feature a Grand Autumn Tasting from 25 of Collin County’s top restaurants. Along with this great entertainment, the 2011 Feast-ival will also include a an Official National Chili Cookoff Event (on the certified United States Chili Cookoff Circuit) with entries from professional and home chefs.
A major attraction at the event will be a live performance by 2011 American Idol contestant and Texas Singer-Songwriter and American Idol Top 12 Males Tim Halperin.
An Interactive Kids Funtime Area will have face painting, carnival games, pumpkin carving, cane pole fishing and a petting zoo.
The Feast-ival Big Stage will feature live entertainment all day from leading North Texas area bands. The evening will include a street party and street dance and more.
Restaurants in the area include The Fillmore Pub, Into My Garden Tearoom, Jorg’s Café Vienna, Kelly’s Eastside, Nee Nee’s Tearoom, Bake Rejoice, Urban Crust and 32 Degrees Rooftop Bar, The Vickery Park, Ye Ole Butcher Shop, and Zanata.
Street admission to Feast-ival is free, with affordable ticket prices on food and drinks.
The Feast-ival will also benefit the charities of The Assistance Center of Collin County, rresponding to families in crisis with food, shelter, clothing and medical assistance, and The Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County, providing safety, healing and justice to children victimized by abuse or neglect. www.assistancecenter.org and www.cacplano.org.

The Historic Downtown Plano Association (HDPA) is a 501 (c) 6 organization dedicated to perserving Downtown Plano’s historic character and embracing its future featuring shops, restaurants, living and an urban lifestyle.
Historic Downtown Plano includes area bounded by Avenue G, 18th St., 14th St., and Municipal Avenue. Downtown Plano is located East of 75th, Exit 15th St.
