There is plenty of parking for all. Please look for the event parking signs. You may also find space at City Hall and the DART Parker Station parking is available.
Many of our merchants on 15th and Avenue K are open later to accommodate the crowds. Merchants outside of 15th Street and J Place are encouraged to participate in The Marketplace area with a booth.
The Downtown Plano area is full of great art galleries. They will be open and some may have special exhibits. Additional art galleries and groups will be having booths at the Marketplace
Sponsored by the Dallas Observer, are Entertainment Stage will feature music and entertainment from all genres and types. There will be two separate acts playing for 90 minutes. In 2007, we featured classic rock, alt-country, southern rock, and rock.

This area is set up to offer our merchants that are NOT on 15th Street a venue to promote their business and to offer services and merchandise if they desire. The HDPA and Sponsors will also have booths. The remainder will be offered to vendors. The target products for these vendors are upscale goods, community services, information on businesses and groups, food and finer arts & crafts. Vendors and Sponsors who want to participate will need to fill out an application available at our website, www.visitdowntownplano.com , and by emailing at jon@visitdowntownplano.com; 972-941-5260. Spread the word of Downtown @ Sundown as we are looking for all types of vendors to participate in this new event. For 2008 Vendors who sign up for 3 months get the 3rd month free!

The HDPA is committed to supporting our local charities. Several of our members are Non-Profits and Charities. As part of Downtown@Sundown we sponsor charities and Non-Profits and their missions. Each Month, one Charity and Non-Profit will be sponsored by the HDPA.

Mixed in The Marketplace will be vendors selling food and food products. In addition, several of our Downtown Plano Restaurants will be open. There will be no alcohol service allowed in the street but several of our restaurants will be serving adult beverages. Several of our stores will be offering food and drink in their stores free to their customers. Open alcohol containers are NOT allowed on the streets in Plano.
