Join us for the Downtown Plano Art & Wine Walk 2018 Season

 About the event

Get an early start to the weekend at the Downtown Plano Art & Wine Walk, presented by Plano Magazine! This is a sip and shop event where participants get to sample selected wines at their favorite shops in Downtown Plano while enjoying live music, curated art exhibitions, and special discounts. It’s the perfect way to unwind in Plano’s arts district. The Art & Wine Walk takes place on the second Thursday of every month from April to December, with a unique theme each month. 

 

Check-in

The evening begins at 5 p.m. with check-in at event1013. Once checked in, attendees embark on a tasting tour of the Downtown Plano Arts District. Each person that attends Art & Wine Walk gets a commemorative glass, along with a passport and a wine guide.

Entertainment

As wine walkers stroll from shop to shop, they can enjoy live music and entertainment from the Ewing Buick GMC Stage in McCall Plaza. Artists and vendors will also be stationed at ArtCentre of Plano and throughout downtown. 

Wine Sampling

There is an average of 18-24 wine stop locations each month, with each location serving a different kind of wine. The walk is filled with a variety of red and white wines with some specialty selections like rose, sparkling, and port. While enjoying wine samples at each participating location, participants keep track of the locations they visit on their Art & Wine Walk passports.

The Raffle

Participants can turn in their passports at the end of the night to be entered in a drawing to win gift certificates to local shops and restaurants. The evening ends with the raffle drawing on the Ewing Buick GMC Stage in McCall Plaza at 9:15 p.m. Participants must be present to win.

Purchase Tickets

Art & Wine Walk tickets can be pre-purchased online for $12, or purchased at the door for $18. Attendees who pre-purchase their tickets pick up their glass, passport and wine guide using the express lane at check-in. Pre-purchased ticket sales stop when the event sells out, or until the day of the Art & Wine Walk at 3 p.m. A limited number of tickets are available, so be sure to get yours early!

The season pass program is back for 2018! Season passes for the Art & Wine Walk include discounted pricing, a custom set of seasonal wine glasses, VIP credentials at check-in, and member-only promotions. The Art & Wine Walk season passes cost $90 and can also be purchased online. ***SEASON PASSES ARE SOLD OUT FOR 2018***

Group sales discounts are available. Groups of 10 or more receive a 10% discount, and groups of 20 or more receive a 20% discount. To inquire about groups discounts, email us at hdpainfo@gmail.com

After-Party

After each Art & Wine Walk, attendees are invited to Hub Streat from 9 PM – Midnight to keep the good times going! A shuttle, provided by Marriott Hotels, will be available to transport guests from McCall Plaza to Hub Streat after the Art & Wine Walk is over. Hub Streat will feature special discounts for Art & Wine Walk attendees, and will have live music and entertainment coordinated with the monthly Art & Wine Walk themes.
